Thassos is a beautiful, green island that has easy access from Kavala, with frequent ferry boat services , as well as from Keramoti, which is convenient for those traveling by plane, as it is closer to the airport.

The options for exploring the island of Thassos are many since all the villages are in a short distance. Green mountains, very good quality roads, crystal clear waters, endless beach options for every taste, both organized with umbrellas and sunbeds and more secluded and quiet
Most of the beaches have fine sand, shallow serene crystal blue waters and are surrounded by pines, olive trees and lush greenery. They are ideal for families with young children, where they can play and swim without fear.
The island does not lack seas with deeper waters, for exploring the seabed, scubbadiving, underwater fishing or simply suitable for delightful swimming. There are several diving centers that offer training as well as diving equipment to lovers of the underwater world, with absolute safety, for beginners and advanced divers.

Many beaches have been awarded a “blue flag” and most have plenty of catering and entertainment excellent facilities. There are restaurants, tavernas, beachbars, canteens for all tastes and budgets.

Aliki, Paradisos, Psili Ammos, Metallia, Saliara, Vathi , Klisma, Glyfoneri, Papalimani, Pachis, Chrysi Ammoudia and the famous Giola are just some of our dozens of suggestions that will fascinate every visitor, depending on what he is looking for during his vacation. In every corner of Thassos one can discover ancient treasures and remarkable archeological sites such as the Ancient Theater, the Ancient Agora and the Acropolis of Thassos.

During the summer there are many traditional events, special evenings and concerts.

Great points of religious interest are the Holy Monastery of Michael the Archangel, in Alyki, located in a magical part of the island with incredible views and the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in the traditional village of Panagia, whith the festival in her honor on August 15th.
